Ipswich Town have completed the signing of Zian Flemming from Burnley in a deal worth up to £20 million.
The east Anglian club will remit a guaranteed £17 million to the Clarets, with a further £3 million payable only if specific performance-related conditions are met.
The 28-year-old forward has committed to a four-year contract at Portman Road and will wear the number nine shirt.
He becomes the Suffolk outfit’s 14th acquisition of the summer transfer window.
Flemming could make his first appearance for his new club during Friday’s home fixture against Liverpool.
Speaking about his move, Flemming expressed pride at joining the club.
He noted that the upcoming game against Liverpool comes quickly and said he was eager to begin.
Ipswich manager Gary O’Neil described Flemming as having demonstrated considerable ability during his initial Premier League campaign with Burnley.
O’Neil stated that the club was delighted to secure the striker’s services.
